Sarospatak is a noted historical city, and an accentuated schooltown as well. Lies in the spectacular Zemplen hill’s foot, 70 km NE to Miskolc, in the coast of the Bodrog river, a cultural and touristical center.

One if the spectacle is the Megyer hill tarn, in the place of the old mill quarry.
